As we dive into the first quarter of 2021, the French fast food and fast casual restaurant app scene on iOS has seen varying user engagement levels. Sensor Tower provides deeper insights into the trends of downloads and weekly active users for the top players in the market.

McDo France kicked off the quarter with around 32K downloads in the last week of December, peaking at 38K in mid-February before settling at 20K by the end of March. Weekly active users started strong at 357K, reaching a high of 514K in February, and then slightly decreasing to 317K towards the end of March.

BURGER KING France experienced a steady start with over 11K downloads in the final week of December, maintaining a consistent flow with a slight uptick to 9K towards the end of March. The app's weekly active users hovered around 129K at the start of the quarter, dipping to 109K in late March but recovered to nearly 118K in the final count.

Domino’s Pizza France showed a steady download trend, starting at 3.4K and ending the quarter with 3.4K downloads as well. Its weekly active users presented a more fluctuating pattern, with a starting point of approximately 40K, peaking at 44K in early February, and closing the quarter with 41K active users.

KFC France had a download figure of 5K in the last week of December, with a noticeable dip to 3K in mid-January, followed by a gradual increase to 4K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started at 20K, saw a decline to 15K in mid-January, and experienced a modest rise to 17K in the final weeks.

Subway® - Official App downloads were at 2K at the beginning of the quarter, with a notable increase to 3.4K in the third week of February, but ended the quarter back at 1.7K. Weekly active users for Subway® showed growth from 5.8K to a peak of 8.1K in February, before stabilizing to just over 6.5K by the end of March.
